When the rebuild was done on my FFPW engine, we found the exhaust manifold cracked. The shop that did the rebuild successfully welded the crack shut. Been running almost 2 yrs now. No problem. If the shop couldn't have done it, I would have got my brother to do it. Cast iron can be welded if the welder knows what he's doin'.
