since my command had no history, i wanted to do it in desert tan. found out soon after that the 3/4 ton commands did not hit africa and the 1/2 tons did. i wanted the chevrons, but missed the order from wade at the time. went with new production ndts and figured id wear them out and put michelins on. the french used them for many years on the trucks we left behind. they are a great radial alternative to the bias ply. with the mileage i will do, the tires look is a big factor as i will never see rain, snow, whatever. i even like those nato ones with the shamrock tread. anything military looking that is not ndt is an improvement!
