It is a full basement house so replacing would be too costly in the city it is in. it would burn up the equity quick. lifting house and shimming is the least eexpensive way but the cracks and tilts of the foundation are still obvious to anyone who looks at the house. push pins straighten all that out. I am thinking I might just put pier and a beam on the sunk side on the inside of the basment, lift at that end then lift the center then maybe go around the house with a new skirt foundation that runs deeper than the original. Less evasive and less $$. But a friend who has cone push piers is going to come out and give me his bid and if right will have him do that.
