waht really sucks is they are not filing bankruptcy because of lack of business. I read an article about what happened and it comes down to the fact that the bank who extends them there line of credit to buy materials decided they did not want to do it anymore. Thsi is happening to many companies these days as the banks are all so screwed up and have lost so much money htat they are cuttgin off credti to almost anyone private or public. Denman normaly shuts down at different times of the year, lets orders build up, borrows money to get materials, makes all the tires, delivers, gets piad then shutters again til the next batch. they ahve lots of orders but no money ot buy materials, it is sad they are a 90 year old company that has managed to survive pretty well till this. but you se Bank CEOs cant live with out multi million dollar bonuses. that would be an unimaginable horror! waht would they do!
