I apologize for I apparently did not make it clear about the source of these pictures. These pictures are the result of a setup on city property by the city that I live in, that being Fort Collins, Colorado. The property is known as Bobcat Ridge.

I simply received an email that had info about the pictures and thought it'd be neat to display some of the pics in a manner showing that one is looking at the same spot from frame to frame.

Here's an excerpt from the email:
"Did you know, the City of Fort Collins Natural Areas Program is working with the Rocky Mountain Cat Conservancy to monitor wildlife at Bobcat Ridge Natural Area? There are eight motion/heat activated cameras which capture images of wildlife on and off trail. City of Fort Collins Master Naturalists and Rocky Mountain High School students regularly check the cameras. The images confirm that bobcats, elk, wild turkeys and mountain lions are just some of the residents of Bobcat Ridge!"

My Dad, retired from a career spent in front of computer screens, now spends part of his time working with the Natural Areas Program. Bobcat Ridge(2,600 acres) is an interesting property in that it is owned by the city but is not in the city limits. Likewise with another large property(28 square miles) north of here known as Soapstone where the Lindenmeier site is located. In better economic times(I remember voting on the issue around 20 years ago) the citizens of Fort Collins chose to use a sales tax that would be used to purchase such properties and I for one am now very grateful for it.

I didn't intend this to be a "commercial" for the FC Natural Areas but it seems it sort of ended up that way.

Anyway, I just thought the good folks here in the PW forum would appreciate the wildlife pics.

Ken
