Wax on Wax off

I tried the candle wax on the frozen bolt trick - this case being a screw in upper ball joint on a '96 Dakota.
I used a Spot welder to heat between the ball joint and upper control arm, just enough like Paul said.
After 2 attempts it worked like a charm.
Thanks guys for teaching me a new way.
