I found one of the 3 bills on-line. It takes 3 to slide this through because they have to pass the house bill, the senate bill and the "budget reconcilliation" bill which is the sneaky was of dodging a fillibuster. I'm not sure which one it was that I looked at, but they're probably all about as big. Do you think any one person has ever read all 2300 pages? I read half a dozen pages at random and I saw some stuff about education and some stuff about jobs, but never did see anything about medicine or insurance. I'm sure it's in there somewhere, along with a whole lot of pork and special appropriations for all those "undecided" congresscritters.

We ought to have a constitutional amendment that says congresscritters have to read every bill (out loud, to a proctor) before they vote on it. Of course congress would have to pass the amendment and by the time they did, they'd have it up to a couple thousand pages too.
