Mike, If you are talking about the hot start issue.... I found out how to do it. To start engine after it is warmed up keep your foot off the throttle and crank the engine for 3-7 seconds and then SLOWLY add throttle and it will start right up. Explanation: modern gas is more volatile and has more expansion from engine heat after you shut off the truck. The gas can't flow backward into the tank because the fuel pump has a check valve so it overpowers the float and flows into the carb bowl and into the intake manifold. Then when you go to start the truck it's flooded. Keep your foot off the throttle and crank the truck and use the engine as an air pump to clear out the extra gas and then slowly give it throttle. It has worked every time and you don't have to mash the throttle to the floor during a hot start condition.
