Our governor already signed a bill requiring our AG to sue the feds if they require Idahoans to buy health insurance. 30+ other states are considering similar suits. From what I hear on the radio, though, the lawyers say that such suits will fail because the feds have the power to overrule state law. Still, when was the last time a majority of states went on the record as being against what the feds were trying to do? Was it 1850-something?

I don't know if this bill is good or bad, since I don't know what's in it and neither does anyone else, including Obama and all those congresscritters. I just know that the way it was passed stinks to high heaven and I don't see how anything good could come out of such a crooked process. The trouble is, when the Republicans were in charge, they pulled most of the same parliamentary tricks that the Democrats are using now, albeit on less important stuff, but still they've pretty much lost their right to cry about it now. What we need is not more Republicans or more Democrats, but more senators and congressmen who know what "honor" and "integrity" mean. These days, it seem everything is for sale, and most of the "yes" votes on this medical bill were bought and paid for with promises we'll probably never even read about.

Okay, back to the trucks.
