05 Ball Joints

My 05 2500 4 wheel drive Dodge has 150,000
and needs all the ball joints replacedalong with the U-joints on the front axels. The dealer wants 1600, parts are 700. I restored my 48 PW myself. Should I tackle the 05 project and are there any tricks to ease the job? Thanks to all, Jim.
