Carb adjustment or worse?

1949 B1 PW

When cold (50-70 F) the truck starts right up and sounds great with just a little choke. After it's warmed up the only way to restart it is to apply full throttle.

My guess is the float is too high or more likely the inlet needle is not seating well and causes a "too rich" situation. Any thoughts?
