We didnt seperate the pitman arm from the drag link. If we had, I agree it would have had more travel. With the pitman arm on, it is the bolt stops that are limiting it. The range of travel is fine, ie it turns from bolt stop to bolt stop. The problem, or perceived problem is the out of synch number of turns from center to left or center to right. It seems like a simple fix, just slip the pitman arm over a tooth or two. I was able to get it closer that way, moved one tooth from where he had it, but could not dial it in to where it semed it should be.
He set his toe in with the nail and chalk method. Tie rod is original with new ends, steering box, pitman arm and drag link are all the correct pieces, werified by comparing them to known good components.
I have not heard back from him about the assembly of the drag link pieces.
