I thought it would make for the ultimate truck too. I have the rear sump oilpan and there is tons of room for the front differential, so no worries there. I have the patterns for the motor mounts I made so i can always make more of them. As I said earlier, the oil pump seems to be the biggest issue, and it simply requires a different cover and remote filters. There are a couple ways to solve that problem. I had an old 413 RB lying around so I used it as my mockup engine so as not to mess up the good engine during fit and fabrication. My truck is going to be powered by a 426W once all my other parts are ready to install it. I am using a 2wd NV4500 5spd OD trans and it all bolts together using a Lakewood bellhousing part# 15335. The truck also has a divorced NP205 transfer case modified for twin-stick shifters and it has 4.10 Dana 60s front and rear. Naturally I set it up with hanging pedals and boosted master cylinder. I have the transmission mount built as well and the engine/trans assembly fits well in the truck. Things are coming along very nicely with this part of the build. I really need to find out how to post pics here so you guys can see how this is going together.
