It's breaking off in pieces. Tried heat and ran out of gas. The hub assembly comes with studs, so if I had a wheel small enough to fit in the recess, I could cut the stud off. But I don't. Getting dark enough to quit for the night. I hate being defeated, especially by an inanimate object.
This is two days now. I might look for a way to remove the old hub with the wheel still on. That would make it easier as I could put the wheel up on a bench. I could just drill out the stud, too.
I did pick up another can of never seize. Thanks for the suggestions. Feels good getting some help.
