Dave,Im sorry..I didnt mean to call you names or insult you at all..I just hate the full-time 4x4.I have had tooo many of them that were nothing but problems.I have been into the 70s Dodge for over 20 years and cant say much good about the full-time 4by.I have bought MANY full-time Dodges and pretty much all of them either needed the front axle replace or the T-case rebuilt or both.And mileage has been anything from 20,000 to 150,000 on them.Thats mostly the kind of trucks I have come up with in my area.I wasnt directing any insult to you.Again,I appoligize if it appeared that way.Not only have I had problems with them,but so did my uncle back when he bought his 75 new,and then when he bought his new 77.Im just old school.If I go outside and see the weather is yucky,Ill reach down and lock in the old hubs.Then if I need 4by,Ill kick the T-case in.Part-Time is my ticket.Again,Im sorry for hurting your feelings.Im Dodge all the way.Its just my opinion about the part-time 4by also.Basically,to each his own.Im also just trying to give advice from past experiance.
