One thing to remember also is that with the full-time everything is moving which wears out quiker and the outer ends on the axles are a bear to change.I converted my 77 with a early 80s front axle and T-case.Of course its best to find a parts truck.You will have to swap trannies/T-cases/front shafts/and front axle.I ended up with a 208 T-case,but never planned on abusing it.A 205 is best for abuse situations,but harder to find.You will gain more than 1 mile on fuel savings this route.In my opinion the full-time 4x4 is for the lazy man with lotsa $$ so they can fix things that wear out quikly,just my opinion LOL.
