I remember one time we had a vehicle that the owner had poor brakes and found out he had a left caliper on the right side and the bleeder was on the low side. We took the caliper boltss out and put a pice of wood in to hold the pads apart then bled it out with the bleeder pointed up, reinstalled it and it had good pedal. The owner left it that way
