Good point, it makes me think about this job I was on about 8 or 9 years ago... these Vietnamese maintenance workers at an insulation factory called Quietflex (they make flexible air duct for attics)were welding brackets for some of there machine equipment, the hood was sitting beside the guy welding, his 2 helpers are just watching him weld.
My tool buddy and I watched them for awhile, and finally I just had to say something about the helmet. The guy tells me in broken english he has Superman eyes, he doesn't need a helmet!
The only thing I don't like about the Speedglas helmets is the price, I don't think I have seen one for less than $300.00
