Seattle seems to have a lot of big family money or big money families. I lived in Union, Wa., for a while and worked on vacation homes for several of them, Nordstrom's being one whose name I can remember.
My wife's sister's husband's father's (???) name was Red Grant. He used to work for Braden. He has been dead for years. I never met him in person, however he did hook me up with a very good buy on a brand new pto winch back in the 70s. Interestingly, he worked for Braden, but for some reason, could not help me buy a Braden. He did have connections with Ramsey Winch and he got me a brand new 8000# Ramsey PTO winch for around $100. Oklahoma seems to be the center of the country for winch manufacturing. Braden, Tulsa, Ransey, and others are made there. JH
