What are the design limits for running RPM, high and low, and the torque and HP vs RPM curves for a stock 230? By high limit, I don't mean the point at which it's guaranteed to throw a rod, but rather the point at which it would typically be governed in order to be able to run all day at that RPM without undue wear. All this talk about these engines, and I realize I've never seen the curves that the designers surely published back in their day. There should also be efficiency curves showing lbs of fuel per brake-hp-hr at various RPMs, or at least a documented peak efficiency point at various HP levels, that is, peak efficiency will come at a lower RPM at lower HP than higher.
