Have you tried a 'sounding bar' low on the block?

Use a dowel or stick or metal rod, looong radiator screwdriver if you have one.
One end against your ear flap, the other against the block. Listen back and forth, find the spot that knocks the loudest. It's usually #6.

You could use a pressure oiler once the pan is off. If you have one. Hook it up to an oil galley, the bad bearing will gush oil.

If you pull a couple caps, the difference between god and bad will be obvious. Make sure the parts have a number stamped in if you take off more than one at a time. They are matched set, cap and rod.
