just be glad you have the MIG! all I have is a 1950's AC stick welder, or the 'ol acetylene rig. not easy to weld sheet metal with something that wont go below 60 amps! using a welding spoon is a big help though. fun fun fun. just got done installing my new cab, and bracket/ mount was torn out or ripped off. so, lots of welding there, I was so sick of it by the time we got done! but then, I decided I needed to repair my battery tray so my battery wouldn't end up on the ground, usually a good thing!
