The ones that I have seen (58 and 60) do not use a ram setup. They use an integrated steering box, tie-rod ends (instead of the normal ball joints) on the drag link, a pump mounted on the back of the generator and a firewall mounted battery. My unit also relocates the oil filter on top of the head.
I believe the steering box is a Gemmer.
