Non-typical pto lever?

I will try to get pictures posted tomorrow, but yesterday my new Power Wagon arrived. It is missing the lever in the cab for engaging the PTO to the front winch. So I thought I would check out what it looked like underneath..

But when I went under the truck I couldnt match mine to any pictures I have seen online. Instead of a piston that moves horizontaly front to back. It appears that there is rotating link that faces out twards the drivers side of the truck.

In the box of parts I recieved was a lever about a foot long that had "braden" on it with a probably 4 foot linkage connected to it.
Would this run from the front of the truck to the case and require me to work the winch from the exterior??
