The original engine is sitting in the workshop for a "rainy day" - I used another 251 I had on hand. As to the axles, I've driven it about 600 meters as a test to see what else had to be dome mechanically, now working through the bodywork. It's only been 7.5 years so far :-)
As I said earlier I started with some left-over parts - about 2 trailer loads and what I didn't have I have made or adapted from other vehicles - not many FFPW's in Australia for parts. Doors to rebuild, hood to repair and paint and glass to go in - then it's done. Should finish before it's 8 years.
