Brake pedal/bracket difference, front and rear masters.

I was thinking of re-working my brake pedal/master system, by welding an extension to the bottom of the pedal. But it looks like it may end up below the frame, susceptible to snagging on obstacles or fouling by debris.

Is the Dodge bracket so different that it mounts the pedal pivot higher? And so the pedal arm is shorter too?
