There is a large historical marker in Telluride that explains about Tesla and his inventions and the electrical "argument" between him and Edison.
I wonder if ego kept Edison from acknowledging that Tesla might have the more practical concept in this case.
BTW, Telluride is one of my most favorite spots in Colorado...very beautiful and not as crowded as places closer to the eastern slope cities.
