well Junior since we are in the 90s now > the problem with anti freeze is that it doesnt disapate heat as fast as water > also its denser (more than water) that means it resist flowing like water > > todays antifreezes(sss) that are specified for your vehicle have better rust preventors and corrosion inhibaters that will keep a cooling system in good shape > also anti freeze has a higher boiling point than water which helps in the engine hot spots > if you are experencing a mild over heat with anti freeze in your cooling system needs anttention some where > but thats just my opinion i am sure ,that there is some one on this site that runs straight water in minus 50 farenheight and never has a problem lmao ~ Copey
