I found the 16 spline axle shaft in early 60s Dana 60 Dodge rearend. Laying it side by side to the 8 3/4 tapered hub axle it is much smaller and not enough material to cut the keyway and taper.
I wonder if there was a Dane 60 semifloating axle made using the 16 spline as well as the tapered hub?
