I cant answer about the pins as I have swapped all mine out with ARB Lockers. However, marking the bearing adjusting nuts and returning to those marks on re-assembly, will NOT bring you back to proper adjustment. Once you move the bearing adjusters you must go thru the alignment procedure. Its just to critical to try and guess it.
