After driving my W500 from California to Idaho last week, and a couple of mishaps...
first, a bad U joint that caused two T-case mounting bolts to shear off and leave the case hanging! (near beautiful Winnemucca Nevada) then early weld failure on the same driveline after the ujoint was replaced and causing it to be ejected at 55 MPH from under the truck near Jackpot Nevada...I am in need of both the front and rear drivelines, both are approx. 65-66" from center of cross (U-joint) to center of cross. Both are Detroit 5380 series U-joints measuring 3.00" inside dimension of yoke. Does anyone have any used decent or rebuildable drivelines out there? Please let me know! Thanks!
