I have a WC57 and at 6'1 it is not easy to get in & out of for sure. If the spare tire is mounted get in from the pass side, of course. The pedal arrangement especially w/ winch is tight but I think it is the same for all 3/4 WCs. The command cars were certainly NOT designed w/ driver comfort in mind. Having said all that it is far better to crunch into the driving position of the command car than not having it at all.
The WC57 will be leading a local Veterans Day Parade next weekend with a retired Maj General as Grand Marshall riding in the rear.
A friend's 1/2 ton CC is so much easier to get in & out of, but I like the 3/4 better as a truck.
