I think I remember the half ton wheels were narrower than the 3/4 wheels. Had a 41 military pickup with 9:00X16 and the 3/4 ton wheels but never tried to put the 1/2 ton wheels on the 3/4 ton.Also remember that in cutting down the wheels to fit into gama-goat wheels that there was an offset difference between 3/4 and 1/2 ton wheels.
