The next truck that my buddy wants to sell is a running driving 1957 W100 pickup LWB.
This truck came from southern IA and is in real nice shape, I doubt it was used on the roads much during its whole life. There is almost no rust on it (one small spot where some dirt was trapped about 3" square is the biggest problem).
This is a V8 4speed LWB truck with a 71/2 foot bed.
The cab has good glass all around (small back window) and is nice and solid.
The running boards are real straight and solid.
It has an original 52,000 miles on it, and all the drivetrain is nice and tight.
It has just gotten a complete brake job using silicone fluid:
All new steel lines
All new rubber lines
Stainless steel sleeved wheel cylinders with new kits
Stainless steel sleeved Master cylinder with a new kit
Drums were turned and are within spec's.
All new pads and springs
The truck also has new fuel lines, and the gas tank has been sandblasted, boiled, and sealed.
