Was planning on using Helitool's engine kit (and front discs) and going the 318/420 route as I want the winch, and your info is exactly what I was after. I have a set of Michelin 11.00 16s to retread for it which I figure should put 55mph at about 2825rpm. Having never dealt with a 318 before, would a stock rebuild complain about doing this? Any other little tips or tricks you have discovered doing this conversion that you would like to share? Thanks to all.
