I read an article in car and driver were they tested a 268 hp V6 camry stopping with the throttle pinned to the floor. They managed to stop from 70 mph at full throttle in only 20 more feet than with the throttle closed. I think the normal stopping distance is around 180 feet so about 12% more with the throttle floor boarded. I believe they were able to stop the camry up until 120 mph and at that speed they managed to get the speed to 10 mph before the brakes faded.

I wonder if my M's drum brakes can stop my truck from 70 mph, Oh wait I can't go 70 mph and I can always press the clutch.
