well, it took us six hours but we finally got the new cab in place, and the doors on. unfortunately we cracked the back glass doing it! now after I weld a few brackets back in place, and a few holes shut I can get the fenders put back on. I wish I could do a re-ring on the engine while the fenders are off for easier access but in my situation it's not possible. sad thing is I'll have to take this thing all apart again when I actually paint it. but for now I can at least get rid of the extra cab! we also found out why the truck looked so wonky and twisted. someone had one cab mount upside down!
