The 'deluxe' type of antifreeze uses Propylene glycol. It is the same ingredient in Anti-Spatter sprays, so a spray bottle of the straight anti-freeze ought to work as welding anti-spatter. It's used in sking creams and wound creams, even in injectable medicines. Diluted to .o4%, (1/2 oz/gallon) and use it as eye drops to lube dry eyes too. It's so harmless, the anti-spatter people don't even have to mention it on their MSDS sheets, that's why the anti-spatter ingredient was so hard for me to find.

Hmm, $12 for a 12oz spray can, or $12 per gallon of antifreeze...
