I have the hydraboost unit and master that Paul has mentioned in earlier posts. The inner rod and spring parts are discontinued so I was looking around for another combination. I used this site www.cardone.com/English/Club/Products/webcat/sbyapp.asp
to look up other chev vehicle brakes and found some good info. A 95' P30/ P35 step van has a possible brake combo we could use. The master is UP39309 ( 34mm bore) and is rated for the heavy duty version for these trucks. It uses the 13x 3 1/2" rear drums/front discs set up. It is rated JB8 and matches to hydraboost NBB527331. The nice thing about this booster is that the internal parts should come with it. It however is missing the pedal push rod which is not too hard to make up. Another combo is master UP390278 (40mm bore) and booster NBB 527330. This booster also comes with the inner parts as well but is missing the pedal push rod. This combo is made for 4 wheel discs. I'm not sure what the gvwr is for this 4 wheel disc version is but it may be a good fit for our trucks. Since GM is not able to supply the booster inner parts for Paul's version perhaps someone knows or has tried this package to see how it would fit. The NBB527331 booster also comes with the firewall reinforcement plate which adds strength to the PW's weak firewall panel. Just a thought. Paul if you read this see what you think.Terry
