No, it will bolt to a Nissan SD33 or SD22, perhaps other Nissan engines, but not the 7.3. #4 is small for a 7.3 anyway as I think the largest clutch that will fit in the #4 is 11". I do have a #4 clutch housing for the NP pattern, with an NP4530 as well.

Basically, the SAE system works like this: engine/flywheel housing/clutch housing/transmission. The flywheel housing is made to bolt on a specific engine or group of engines and this pattern is not standardized. The clutch housing is meant to bolt to a transmission with a pattern that is not standardized. It's the surface where the clutch housing bolts onto the flywheel housing that is standardized.

This is only part of the whole SAE system which standardizes the relationship of the various parts to one another "in the middle", between the engine and transmission.
