There are several places in the country doing this kind of work. Some will seem credible to you when you talk to them on the phone and others likely will not.
To answer your question, it seems the repair fee is about $450. The alternative is a reconditioned one [repaired using the same methods; the big question is..... was yours repairable?]
The reconditioned ones bring $700 to $800, and I have seen as high as $1,000. This is in contrast to buying from the Dodge dealer, who will also sell you a repaired unit for $1,400.
