I've been using the semi-chisel chain style on my Husqvarna since 1983. It'll flat hunker down and do the job. A lot of good advice offered up and you can't ever be too safe when it comes to using a chain saw. As time goes by you'll learn a few tricks too minimize the constant strain on your back and arms. It's been my experience that generally where you tend to get into trouble a little easier is when you are limbing. Be careful and Happy New Year!
