My Dewalt Cordless 3/8" was bought in 2000. The drill has served well, I have gone thru 2 keyless chucks and am on the 3rd. The last 2 were Jacobs.......but made in China !!!
I too have a Milwaukee Magnum 1/2" Hole Shooter, made in the USA. Its the best drill I ever owned. You better have a grip on it if it catches a edge. It will wrap your wrist, then arm around the drill ha ha. Nothing stops it.
