I have the GM, NV-4500 2 wheel drive short tail shaft on my Power Wgaon, driven by the B3.9 engine. Staying as far forward as possible with the engine, I had less than 6 inches center of the NV-4500 U Joint to Center of the T Case U joint in its OEM location. I used a Spicer Slip yoke and a Spicer yoke shaft to make up my intermediate propeller shaft. If you go this route, keep your engine ad far forward as possible. If necessary, use a electric fan in pusher on the front of the radiator, as I did.
