I wonder what it was last used for? It could have had a 5th wheel as evidenced by the bolt holes in the top of the rear surface extending thru the under sub frame. It appears it has solid axle stops installed above the rear axle. Suppose this was for weight or stability purposes? I don't see any evidence of vacuum brake contols for a trailer. I built one that looked like this in the late 70's. Put a PW body, rear axle, and transfer case on a weapons carrier frame. The closed cab comforts were nice and it was still great for manuevering in tight places off road. Last I knew it was still around the Ellensburg, WA area.
