I believe, no, the check engine light does not come on, but I need to verify that.
The only code it is setting is 1694. It is a 2001 2500 Ram, HO Cummins, 6-speed.
My present understanding is that the PCM needs to support the operation of the ASD relay in order for it to fuel.
I did find an atrocious ground connection at the PCM. I am continuing to evaluate other grounds..... going back outside now.
