Chinese (?) MU-2 copy

I got to looking at the pictures of that winch that "surpluscenter.com" is selling and it's clear that they started with something like an MU-2, but the result is quit different. The main difference is it mounts on a base, rather than front and rear, and it mounts so that the drive shaft is parallel to the mounting points rather than angled down. I'm thinking this would not work on a PW without much fabricating of new mounts. The outboard drum support bracket is entirely different, and the attachment points for the shift lever are different. Has anybody here adapted one of these to a PW, or is this a copy of some different Braden winch (not an MU-2)?
