I don't want to give in any way the impression that Petronix is going out of business, just that they may produce the electronic parts for a certain amount of time or forever into the future, only they know. Electronic dist. has it's place in the auto market. Wheather it's needed or a benefit on the old 230 technology is matter of opinion, maybe it is.
I will say that anyone who plans to use it, keep a backup plan for when it fails. The Power Wagon was designed with quit a few redundancies, so if one item failed another took over, i.e. engine crank, patial oil filtering, etc. As we upgrade to new technologies that don't have that in mind, we need to keep in mind that we need an alternative "in the field" if and when the item fails.
