As Tweety Bird would say, "Be vewy vewy careful"! I imagine the chain saw will cut through the tire easily enough, but when you reach the bead with all of the wires and as the Christmas carol goes "You'd better look out"! That chain will grab the wires and walk you right into the rim. If you feel as though you must do this, then borrow your neighbors chain saw, because your's won't be worth squat when you're through! Of course that would be the neighbor you don't much care for. :>) Better safe than sorry.
