Of course they do. The fact that most of these myths could be proven with at most some college level physics wouldn't make for a very interesting show.
I like them for the sheer fact they actually try some of this stuff. Some of the mechanisms, devices, machines, and tests they have devised are just amusing to my engineering/tool guy personality.
Though they have strayed from myths to other things like movie tricks and "sayings". But still entertaining.
Found out the Science channel carries reruns on Junkyard Wars, that one always amused me too.
